Equitocks offers a
beautifully renovated barn which has been finished to a very
high standard providing luxurious accommodation so you can
indulge yourself and you can bring your horse along too!
So many horsy holidays don't seem to offer stylish
accommodation for the rider, we want to give you the whole
package!
Your stay with us can be tailor made to suit your training
requirements as well as your pocket, or you may just want to
hack and take in the lovely Somerset views and countryside.
Whatever you decide we can fit in with you.
Equitocks is set mid-way between the Somerset villages of
Nether Stowey and Spaxton, in a quiet location in the heart of
the Quantocks. We are a short drive away from Minehead,
Taunton and Bridgwater.
The property is approached through a private driveway shared
only by us, a warm welcome awaits you but privacy is assured.
This graded 5 star accommodation offers two large bedrooms,
one king size and one double, both tastefully decorated and
boasting luxury bedding, large fitted wardrobes and spacious
units.
The bathroom, beautifully tiled in pale grey, includes a large
shower unit, WC, sink and heated towel rail. Towels and bath
robes are included.
The lounge offers open-plan living with flat-screen TV, DVD
and wi-fi. It is a place to relax or read numerous books on
offer for you to borrow during your stay with us.
The kitchen/diner is equipped with electric oven and hob,
dishwasher, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer. Contemporary
cream kitchen units and large, solid, wooden dining area with
high-backed leather chairs compliment the peaceful colour
scheme.
The full-fronted glass panels in the lounge let in an
abundance of sunlight and open onto a secluded garden with
views to the Quantock hills. Outside you step onto a decking
area with a large six-person hot-tub, garden table and chairs
and a gas barbecue. A large grass lawn with colourful shrubs
and a stream at the bottom of the garden completes the ideal
retreat to relax in after a long day.
Later, you may wish to visit one of our local friendly pubs,
both of which serve excellent home-cooked food locally
sourced from Nether Stowey and Spaxton. You can walk, drive or
if you feel energetic, borrow a bike!
If you come with your other half who isn't into riding, or
horses we have quiet, secluded fishing lakes where you can get
a day ticket or the Quantocks has ample mountain biking tracks
where you can cycle for miles!
